I only listen to a few podcasts, but Jay Shetty is by far one of my favorites. I read Think Like a Monk about a year ago when I was going through a transition in my life and needed some support and guidance.
Shetty is a former monk who discusses relevant topics such as our relationships with ourselves and others, finding our life's purpose, discovering yourself, finding peace and happiness and how to deal with the stressors of the culture we live in.
Think Like a Monk helped me to overcome personal roadblocks, change my way of thinking and how I view certain problems, and other techniques to handle difficult situations and navigate the ups and downs of day to day life. It's written in a way that's incredibly enjoyable, entertaining and easy to follow. It's a book that I go back to every now and then and can continue to learn from even after I've finished reading it.
I recommend this book for anyone looking to cultivate a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.
